Experiential Learning
The Experiential Learning Series is based on some of the most popular courses at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and emphasizes Social and Emotional Intelligence. Experiential Learning is powerful because it is highly participative and by its nature addresses the individual learning needs of each student. Carl Rogers defined Experiential Learning, saying that all human beings have a natural desire to learn, and that the role of the teacher is to facilitate the student’s learning. Mentor’s Experiential Learning instructors bring their experience from Stanford and are highly skilled at facilitating deep and impactful learning.

Soft-Skills Training
Mentor offers the following Soft Skills courses: Performance Management, Negotiation, Project Management, Leadership Fundamentals, Collaboration, Conflict Resolution, Team Building, Effective Meetings, Presentation Skills, Time Management, Behavioral Interviewing, Managing Upward, Change Management, Creativity, Problem Solving, and more. Soft Skills courses are generally only offered as private classes as each course must be customized to the needs and culture of each company.

Mentor Training offers courses from beginning to advanced within each of the subjects listed above. We offer courses within specific functional and topic areas, such as Cross-cultural Negotiation or Excel for Finance. A significant percentage of our group-classes are customized to the specific needs of the group receiving the course, typically at no extra charge.

Mentor Training has built its reputation on the quality of services we deliver and the results our clients experience. More than 80% of our revenue comes from repeat business. Mentor Training strongly believes in the value of training for the purpose of improving productivity and job satisfaction. We measure the satisfaction of our clients in each course, and we are committed to continuous improvement. We also measure the return on our clients’ training investment, or ROI. We have found that each day of training improves employee productivity by six days per year on average, which more than pays for the time and money invested in the training.
 
Our Instructors
All of Mentor’s instructors are Professional Trainers. Most have over a decade of experience, and most of our instructors also consult. Students of Mentor’s classes are asked to complete evaluations at the end of every class. We follow up on any marks less than four on our five-point scale both with the client and the instructor. Mentor only retains instructors that are able to consistently maintain evaluations of four and above.
 
Discounts
Pre-purchased training vouchers offer a 10-15% discount off public class rates, tutoring and consulting. Beyond the discount, pre-purchased training provides a streamlined way for employees to enroll in courses by eliminating expense reports while maintaining proper authorization procedures and usage reporting.
 
Group classes, given at your site or ours, offer up to a 50% discount over public classes. A group of seven enjoys a 20% discount over public classes, and larger groups enjoy a larger discount. Group classes provide the convenience of on-site training, allowing employees to return important emails or phone messages before class, during breaks, and after class. In addition, group classes allow the curriculum to be tailored to the specific needs of your employees, significantly enhancing the value of the training.

Our Guarantee
All of our services are guaranteed: if you are not satisfied with any engagement, you don’t have to pay for it. In addition, attendees of our computer skills courses may retake a course at no charge for up to 18 months following their original completion date. We also provide free support. A student can email questions to us for up to 18 months following a class and we will work to provide an answer within 24 hours.
